Radicle Femmes
The year is 2024. Cannabis has been legal for 6 years. And yet, there’s still a distinct gender gap across the industry and many of us were wondering what we could do to change that. That’s when Marigold PR came to Sister Merci for help concepting, naming and branding an event to connect cannabis professionals who wanted to influence change. So just in time for International Women’s Day, we launched Radicle Femmes.
What’s in a name?
Radicle: The first part of a seedling to emerge from the seed + a homonym for the kind of disruptive transformation required to effect change.
Femmes: The women and allies cultivating connection, representation, and change across the industry.
The cross-Canada event offers women and allies in the industry access to panels, discussions and the opportunity to share insights and advice while making meaningful networking connections. And since its inception, it’s grown to become Canada's largest networking platform for women in weed.
